Dansk Cottage has room for up to six guests in three bedrooms.

Children under 3 stay without a per-person charge. From their 3rd birthday the regular per-person price applies; age on arrival applies. Please still include all children in your request – they count towards the maximum occupancy of six guests.

Yes, one dog is included in the total price. A second dog is possible with prior notice for a supplement of €50 per week.

Yes, a private barrel sauna with a panoramic window is available to our guests at no extra charge.

Yes, a wallbox is available right at the house for charging your electric car.

Yes, fast fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Yes, a wood-burning stove in the living area provides cosy evenings.

Several ferry connections serve Ærø, including Fynshav–Søby and Svendborg–Ærøskøbing. You will find current timetables and prices with the official ferry companies.

Dansk Cottage is available from spring 2027. You will find all dates under Rates & availability.

Check-in is possible on Saturdays from 4:00 pm, check-out on Saturdays by 10:00 am.

Yes, bicycles are available to our guests for exploring the island.

The free island bus stops almost right in front of the house – the bus stop is only about a 3-minute walk away.

Yes, final cleaning is included in the total price of your stay.

Yes. A security deposit of 500 € is generally charged per booking. It is not a rental charge and is normally refunded within seven days of departure, unless there are justified claims. Details can be found in our terms and conditions.

It is not mandatory, but we recommend it: if you cancel, cancellation charges apply depending on the timing (clause 8 of the terms). Suitable options include HanseMerkur travel cancellation insurance, which also covers a holiday-home-only booking, and, for guests resident in Denmark, Europæiske ERV “Feriebolig afbestilling”. The insurance contract is concluded directly between you and the insurer. More in our insurance recommendation.

Bed linen and towels are always included and are changed every week.

In Søby, about 4 km from Dansk Cottage, there is a supermarket (Dagli’Brugsen) and small shops for everyday needs. You will find further supermarkets, farm shops and producers on our page Shopping on Ærø.

Yes, each of the three bedrooms has its own television, and there is a 55-inch TV in the living area. All devices are equipped with waipu.tv – so you have access to Netflix and Danish and German television.

Dansk Cottage is designed as a single-storey house with no stairs inside. If you have special requirements, please feel free to contact us in advance.
